Backyard Holiday Screensavers
FAQ
  1. What is Backyard Holidays?
    • Backyard Holidays is a screensaver manager that is(as far as we know), unique. It runs straight from the Windows screensaver mangager, and yet does so much more. Backyard Holidays will automatically switch to the correct screensaver for holidays of year when the time is right. The holiday screensavers must be installed separatally and can be downloaded from http://www.backyardproductions.org/holidays When it is not a holiday, Backyard Holidays will display the screensaver of your choice from a list of screensavers already on your computer. In other words, when it is not a holiday, you won't even notice that Backyard Holidays is there. But when it's time for a holiday screensaver, you won't have to switch your screensaver. Backyard Holidays will do it for you. There is also a manual mode where you can display any of the holiday screensavers at any time, in case you want some Christmas spirit in the middle of August.

  2. Can I see some screenshots?

  3. Can I Choose A Screensaver From My Computer To Display When It's Time For A Holiday?
    • Currently, No. However, if we see that there is popular demand for this feature then it may be added to a later version.

  4. Why Are Only Certian Holiday Available?
    • We'll be working on making more as time goes on. This is a reletivally new program, so keep checking back for more holidays. We'll make the main holidays first probably, and then get down to the obscure ones. :)

  5. Can I Change When To Display Holidays?
    • The answer to that is: "For some holidays." Currently you can only change the display dates of holidays that are based on a date, IE: July 4th, or Christmas. You can't change holidays like Columbus Day, which is the second monday in october. Again, if we see popular demand for this feature, it may be added to later versions. 6. What If I Don't Want To Display A Holiday?
    • Well, for one, don't install it. However, just for you Scrooges out there who don't like a certain holiday, but you don't want to uninstall it, you can disable it. Disabled holidays will not be display. You can re-enable them later if you have a change of heart.
